Draft for App Store and website publishing. Not final legal advice. Replace placeholders (company name, ABN, contact email) and have a lawyer review before treating this as live policy.
Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of MyOrderReady ([Legal entity name — placeholder], ABN [ABN — placeholder], Sydney, NSW, Australia) (“we”, “us”), including our website, vendor dashboard, and iOS App Clip.
Contact: [support@myorderready.com — placeholder].
By using the service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
1. The service
MyOrderReady helps hospitality venues notify customers when an order is ready, using the customer’s phone instead of a physical pager. Vendors manage queues on the web. Customers join via a venue link, QR code, or App Clip.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- Vendors sign in with an email verification code. You must provide accurate business details and keep your login email secure.
- Customers do not create accounts. They only provide a name or order label and optional notification permission.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your place of residence (and at least 16).
3. Customer use
The App Clip and customer web pages are free for end customers. You may only use them to join a genuine venue queue. Do not misuse notifications or attempt to disrupt the service.
4. Notifications — important disclaimer
Notifications depend on the customer’s device, operating system, browser, network, battery settings, and notification permissions. We do not guarantee that a buzz will be delivered, heard, or received on time — including when a phone is locked, offline, in low power mode, or has notifications disabled.
The venue remains responsible for fulfilling orders. MyOrderReady is a convenience aid, not a guaranteed delivery or paging system.
5. Vendor subscriptions and billing
- Vendors may start on a free allowance and upgrade to paid plans.
- Paid subscriptions are sold and billed on our website via Stripe. The iOS App Clip is free and does not use Apple In-App Purchase for vendor plans.
- Fees, buzz limits, billing interval (monthly/annual), renewals, cancellations, and taxes are shown at checkout and/or in the vendor billing portal. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled.
- Refunds are handled according to the plan terms at purchase and applicable Australian Consumer Law rights that cannot be excluded.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Abuse, scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
- Send spam or unlawful content via the platform.
- Enter excessive personal data into order labels (use a first name or order number where possible).
- Use the service in violation of local food, consumer, or privacy law.
Vendors are responsible for how they use customer information obtained through their own operations and for their compliance with applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
We own the MyOrderReady platform, brand, and related materials. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service and venue QR materials for your own venue while your account is in good standing. You may not copy or resell the platform.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, abuse, or risk to the service or others. You may stop using the service at any time; vendors should cancel paid subscriptions via the billing portal or by contacting us.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where liability can be limited, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 3 months before the claim (or AUD $100 if you paid nothing).
10. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts of NSW have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under mandatory local law.
